Project Background
Under confidentiality of the actual project, I've instead created my own online quiz and worked on my visual design skill.
I imagined myself as someone who worked for a small organization without a research budget and a two-week deadline.

What is "Alignment"?
"Alignment" is a hypothetical quiz for helping users determine their role-playing character's moral alignment.
The concept of alignment is more commonly associated with the pencil-and-paper roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), but also appears in other roleplaying games as well.
By discovering their character's morality, a user learns to shape decisions made in-game.
(I'm not affiliated with 'Wizards of the Coast' in any way; this is basically fan-made.)

Process
- Develop a proto-persona.**
- Understand the user's needs.
- Brainstorm features to address user need.
- Design the quiz with the user and features in mind.
(**A proto-persona is an educated guess about potential users when product output is high in short periods of time.
They lack the nuance of a persona based on actual research, but they help create focal points in the design process.)
Alex the Proto-Persona
Who They Are
Became interested in D&D after watching their favorite celebrity stream play-sessions.
Fascinated by the fantasy and storytelling possibilities of D&D and wants to play immediately.

Scenario
Alex is stuck defining the morality of the character they're creating.
Their more knowledgable friends are unavailable to help.

What Alex Needs:
- A way to understand how certain in-game decisions affect their alignment.
- Specific enough questions for Alex to receive a more accurate result.
- A short amount of time to discover their alignment.
- A quiz that doesn't pressure Alex to share more information than is comfortable.
