"Making the Strange Familiar, and the Familiar Strange"
I first heard this statement in an undergraduate course. I changed my major from biology to anthropology that same day.
Through user experience, anthropology, and lifelong curiosity, I strive for the values that come from observing people and communities. Like the video games I play, I never tire of the puzzle to draw meaningful insight from complex, every-day lives, while also examining social relationships which are supposedly conventional and universal.
Effective strategy for addressing people's experiences begins with their knowledge. Why not research it?
